Hot Springs Packing List

So you’ve decided to take the plunge (pun intended) into the world of hot springs, and not just any hot spring, but the “wilderness” type. If preparing for a trip of this nature seems daunting to you, don’t worry. I’ll guide you through all the steps necessary to creating the perfect packing list for your next hot spring adventure. Anyone can do it!

Making the most out of your hot spring experience is all about preparation. The following list has been compiled to ensure your next hot spring adventure is one for the record books.

Hot Springs Packing List

Stay focused. The other day the grass was brown, now it’s green because I ain’t give up. Never surrender. In life there will be road blocks but we will over come it. Life is what you make it, so let’s make it.

• Towel (of course)
• Water Shoes or Flip flops (when getting into the Hot Springs, sometimes it’s slippery or sharp so shoes always help)
• Robe (pro tip, it’s so nice to be able to walk back to your car in a robe to change into fresh clothes)
• Swimsuit (although birthday suit is fine)
• Water (due to the intense heat it is very important to stay hydrated when soaking)
• Cash (many of the parking lots require cash for parking passes)
• Trash Bag (be sure to leave no trace, pack it in, pack it out)
• No Glass (to keep everyone safe please refrain from bringing any glass so it doesn’t break and cause issues)
• Head Lamp (if you go for sunset, I recommend staying until the lights are out, then can do some incredible star gazing)
• Thermometer (to check the water temperature and ensure safety during water activities)
